Rochester Personal Defense / LionsPride Training Group will be offering a Legalities Lite course on 13 Oct 2026.
This course is a classroom-only session targeted for individuals who received their pistol permits before 1 Sep 2022 when the Concealed Carry Improvement Act (CCIA) went into effect.
The session will cover updates to New York State (NYS) laws regarding licensure, safe storage, use of force, and sensitive/restricted locations.
Given the nature of gun and self-defense laws in NYS, this course is highly recommended for anyone.
